2021-12-08: Changes to Littlepay Docs

We’re making changes to the Littlepay Docs site, which will come into effect on Thursday, December 23rd.

What will change?

We are updating the way we package and deliver our customer documentation. We hope that in the new year, you will find a leaner, faster and easier-to-navigate library showcasing more of the products and features we offer.

Look and feel

We're updating the look and feel of the Littlepay Docs site:

Some of the changes you can expect:

  • Improved navigation: We've streamlined the way we present content and did away with duplicate links in our navigation.
    • The Back Office guides and reference deserve their own space—that's why they're now separate from the Device guides and reference.
  • Faster site: The pages load a bit faster—to keep up with you better.
  • API reference: No need to navigate 'away' from the guides to get to the API reference—it's in the same navigation pane and seamlessly blends into the rest of the content.
  • Global search: Our site search now picks up content from all our product spaces. Might come in handy when you're integrating across all of them.

Some impacts

While we hope to bring a fresh documentation experience in time for the new year, we did need to move a few things around. While you can always rely on https://docs.littlepay.io as the portal our documentation, the general link structure has changed, and the same familiar content is still there—just moved addresses.

To minimise disruptions to your navigation and experience, we've set up redirects so that any of your previously bookmarked URLs should work.

Comms and other concerns

We want this transition to be smooth and painless for all our customers—we will get in touch with you to provide new credentials for accessing the Littlepay Docs on December 23rd. Meanwhile, don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions about this change.
